We lay new block paving in large and small areas. We also repair or extend any block paved areas.
Block Paving
We block pave any area large all small. We can also re-lay an existing block paved area or extend an area already laid.
The Process
The old concrete and slabs were broken up and removed; the driveway excavated to a depth of 200mm, sub-base hardcore laid and compacted; concrete charcoal blocks were then laid on a stiff concrete mix to form the outer layer then more hardcore was added to bring up the levels and compacted.
Sharp sand was then added, screeded off and tamped to allow for the brindle concrete blocks to be laid and cut as necessary. The blocks were then compacted before finer block paving sand was added and compacted in-between the block joints.
Walls
At D.L Maintenance we offer a brick laying service. We can repair or lay down new walls.
