The original decking was rotten. The old was stripped out and removed. New uprights and supports were put in and new decking laid.
Soil was sliding down into next doors garden. the foundation was dug and concrete laid. concrete blocks were aid and topped with blue bricks on edge.

Customer requested a patio with sleepers utilised as a retaining wall. Earth was excavated, compacted sub-base hardcore laid and slabs laid on a wet sand and cement mix. Sleepers were laid and cut to suit
Customer requested a walled garden. Foundation was excavated and one brick thick all round surround wall was laid .

Customer requested new patio with ceramic slabs. Old patio was lifted, excess soil removed and compacted sub-base hardcore laid. The ceramic slabs were first painted with a cement slurry so they would adhere to the wet sand and cement mix. The slabs were cut where necessary around obstacles like the round drains. The joints were then filled with jointing compound.
Customer requested uneven slabs be relayed. Slabs were lifted and cleaned off. soil was excavated and replaced with compacted sub-base hardcore and slabs relayed on a full wet sand and cement mix
Customer required a concrete base for his new office. Soil was dug out, a pipe put in place for services, sub-base hardcore laid and compacted and concrete laid and levelled.
As you can see the customer required more parking space. The shrubs and topsoil were lifted and removed. The ground was dug out to allow 6 inches of compacted sub-base hardcore, before the blocks were laid on screeded sharp sand . The blocks were then compacted with kiln dried sand brushed in and compacted to seal the drive.

Jet-washing of drives and patios undertaken.
When jet-washing block paving, the kiln dried sand that actually seals the block paving needs to be wacker plated back in, NOT just brushed in; otherwise the drive will sink in time. We endeavour to do the job properly.
